Nobody wants to be falsely accused of anything, especially a crime. However, if you have been accused of a crime by the police and they either arrest you on the spot or serve you with an arrest warrant, you cannot resist the arrest. Even if you KNOW you are innocent.
Resisting arrest is, itself, a serious crime with consequences perhaps even worse than those of a DUI. If you have been arrested or told that you are going to be arrested, comply with the police. Do not resist, hide or evade them in any way.
