Be Mindful Of What You Carry With You In Your Vehicle
It is not just a DUI charge you need to be concerned about being charged with when on the road. Even if you are stone cold sober and an officer pulls you over and requests a breathalyzer and you pass with flying colors, there are other things which could lead to charges against you. With the advent of legalized marijuana, officers around the country are taking a hard look at drug paraphernalia.
What kinds of things could you have in your car that could land you in trouble? Certainly water pipes (bongs) would, but also such seemingly harmless objects such as lighters, razor blades, pill bottles and rolling papers. It is best not to have anything in your car or on your person that could be mistaken for drug paraphernalia. It is just a charge you don't need or want to face!
