In Texas, Steep Penalties for Forging Documents

If you've been convicted of a DUI, you most likely have had your driver's
license taken away from you. If you feel that you can get a
"fake" or forged one to tide you over until you can reinstate yours,
think again. You owe it to society to not drive since you broke
society's trust with you to not operate a vehicle under the influence.

Forging documents is a felony and will only add to your sentence and may
even increase the time it takes to get your license back. In Texas,
forging a driver's license, which is a government document is considered
to be a third degree felony and can get you put away in prison for two
to ten years.

Being convicted of a DUI is costly. You will be without your license for
a certain period of time and you must respect that limitation in your
life. If you live in Burlington, Essex, Colchester, Winooski, Williston,
Shelburne or anywhere in the State of Vermont, and have been arrested or
charged with DUI or any crime, call Handy Law for aggressive and
experienced legal defense.
