It seems unimaginable, but it can happen. An individual entrusted with transporting
our children to school get behind the wheel of a school
bus, intoxicated. This nightmare scenario happened recently in New
Jersey. Fortunately, an adult school bus aide quickly alerted
authorities and the driver was apprehended.
After picking up the first student of his run, a New Jersey school bus
driver proceeded to hit five occupied vehicles, two traffic poles and
one fire hydrant. If the DUI charge wasn't enough, his license to
operate a vehicle in New Jersey had been suspended for other reasons.
This should be a warning to us all that anyone. Unfortunately, is
capable of getting behind the wheel drunk. Even behind the wheel of a
school bus. Of course, the best and only advice is, simply, don't drive
under the influence of anything. Period. If you live in Burlington,
